Winter/Christmas Blog Hop
Welcome to the Winter/Christmas Themed Blog Hop celebrating our favorite time of the year. This Blog Hop is hosted by Paulette, from Around the Bock with Scrapalette. You can start at the beginning of the hop at http://scrapalette.blogspot.com/.
My project for the hop is JOY CHRISTMAS TAG, it's easy peasy and I hope you enjoy it. Don't forget to look at the bottom of the post for blog candy and a link to your next stop I used SEI peppermint swirl and green stock paper from Michaels.
I bought the shipping tags at Office Depot
The twine is Maraschino from The Twinery
For a little bling I used Recollections Boutique Fleur Mini Round Gems in Green
.
I cut the Joy at 2" from the Create a Critter Cricut Cartridge.
| glued the twine in a spiral to the joy |
I covered the shipping tag with a piece of the Peppermint Swirl Paper cut to fit
Glue the Joy to the front of your tag, add your bling to the center of your spiral and a piece of twine to the end of the tag and you are done. Like I said Easy Peasy .I'm really glad you stopped by.
Now for the blog candy, I am giving away either a Nursery Tails Imagine Cartridge or a Nursery Rhymes Cricut Cartridge. All you need to do is leave a comment below and follow my blog. I will choose a winner at random on Monday, make sure you leave a way for me to contact you.
From here you will go to

Pay It Forward
Pay it Forward
I found this over at Kim of www.moescrap.com. she is doing this pay it forward.. so I thought.. I would love to share with my followers.
"Pay It Forward" is the idea of blessing someone with a random act of kindness without expecting anything in return. It’s passing on a kindness, hoping that your recipients will do the same, and forming a never-ending chain of goodwill. But it isn’t only kindness, it is also a means to connect and share instead of just keeping it to ourselves.
"I promise to send an original creation to the 1st 5 people who leave a comment here. They must, in turn, post this, and send something they make to the 1st 5 people who comment on their status."
Here's what you need to do:
1. Leave a comment on this post. I will send a handmade gift to the first 5 commenters.
2. Create a post on your blog offering the same.
3. Send a handmade item to your first 5 commenters.
4. It must be sent to your 5 people sometime in 2011.
Please do not sign up unless you are fully committed to making your 5 items!

Happy Birthday
This a birthday card I made for my hubby's cousin Sue. They were born 2 days apart and always celebrate together.
I Want My Mummy
I made this card for a little boy who was having surgery last week. It is from Mini Monsters and I love it.
